First of all there was the Zine and Book book project in first year, this involved making a very basic photocopied zine at the cheapest possible cost and the most simplicity, we also made a book but I'll get to that later, and during the What is Viscom? module I made a booklet of my findings. Although one is from the very start of the year and the other these are shown together side by side to show a difference in not only quality but my understanding of layout and type and also as they are of a similar format. It should also be noted that the the following photos of zines and books in this post are more about the learning process than the finished product. As you can see the latter is a lot more carefully considered, printed to a higher quality, produced with higher grade materials and generally more aesthetically pleasing but was also made with an inkjet printer and hand sewn as a one off, not a realistic process for multiple production runs.

Finally there is the Book from the start of the first year, again this was printed and bound by me but is a costly and lengthy process that cannot really be stretched to multiple prints easily.
